0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">Sometimes when I\u2019m feeling a little stressed and want to make something easy but delicious we make what we call Hamburger Stew.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>This stew satisfies our craving for something warm and nutritious as well as giving us the flexibility to use what we have on hand from the Co-op.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Every time we make Hamburger Stew it turns out a little different, here are some of our favorite ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\"><\/p>\n<p>Main Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">1 lb of ground beef (browned with onions and garlic)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">4 cups of beef stock<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">Spice to taste (any fresh or dried spices you would normally put in your favorite stew)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">Optional Ingredients (pick and choose as many or few as you like or add your own):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">Potatoes<span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Onions<span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Broccoli<span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">Directions:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">1.<span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">Brown ground beef in large stew pot.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Spice to your taste<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and add chopped onions and garlic (again, to taste),<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 saut\u00e9 until tender.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">2.<span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">Add beef stock and choice of vegetables (add vegetables<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0according to their cooking times \u2013 longer cooking<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 vegetables first and so on).<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Simmer until vegetables are<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 cooked through.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">3.<span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">Add rice, grain, or noodles.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Cook an additional 20 \u2013 30<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 minutes or until done.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">4.<span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-style: normal;font-family: Arial\">Serve with your favorite sliced or grated cheese (cheddar,<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Colby, or jack) and fresh rolls or garlic toast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span><span style=\"font-size:
